In view of past events, we are publishing a press release from Patrik Mörkfors, CEO and owner of Best Western Gustaf Froding Hotel & Conference. "Earlier today, we announced our decision to cancel this year's Christmas show with Peter Jezewski. This decision is now reversed"

"Of course, people of all political views are welcomed to our hotel and our chain. Democracy and openness are crucial elements of our core values. We now realize that our decision was perceived as something else.

The background for the decision was that our hotel and our staff experienced a difficult and traumatic period during and after 2008 when we welcomed the Sweden Democrats to hold its congress here. After the Congress we received a large amount of complaints, cancellations and worst of all our staff received death threats.

Based on these experiences, we took an emotionally based decisions that we now reverse. Concern for our staff, our guests and their safety colored our decision after a lot of negative publicity surrounded Peter Jezewskis participation at the festival in Sölvesborg.

We have contacted Peter and apologized for the situation."
